While we're waiting for Rita to get back to work, we went along with the political activist to take pictures of the new salt pile on the St. Clair River. Looks like it may be too close to the river, so letters will be written and phone calls made.
Under the watchful eyes of the Border Patrol we sat and looked at the river.
No freighters went by on this typically beautiful, Michigan winter day but we've added a photo of a freighter, taken Jan 02, 08 just a little farther downriver.
